During this creation process a lot of effort goes in to historical research: location, clothes, names, birth year, profession and much more. Bölverk iron stones, Craftsman and warrior

Bölverk iron stones is my name. As a small child my village was raided by a great danish lord called Harold, who took me as a slave. After many years of turmoil, I proved myself a great warrior and was enlisted into his huskarl. After being mortally wounded in battle, on his death bed Harold awarded me my freedom along with some silver coinage. I used that treasure to buy a ship and pay a crew and made my way west to join the great heathen army. Unfortunately we were blown off course and landed on the most southern part of England where my small horde were met with great resistance. We fought bravely still, most of my men died. But myself and few of my men were spared, on the condition that we would fight for a powerful mercenary lord in the forest of andred. It did not sit well for me at first to be fighting alongside saxons. I have come to realise that this has already been written by the Norns and my fate is already sealed. So I now fight in my new lords huskarl for glory. I hold no title, holdings nor lands. I fight for my seat in Valhalla that i may see my ancestors and fight alongside Harold once more.
