Each member not only learns how to wield their weapons in a safe manner but also must create a persona for shows. Below you will find out a little more information on characters that our members protray. During this creation process a lot of effort goes in to historical research: location, clothes, names, birth year, profession and much more. Characters in the Viking age
Börs Dalgaard, Thegn & Warrior
Börs Dalgaard is the son of a wealthy farmer and former staryman to Harthacnut. Things dont always go as planned and he is now a mecenary in the forrest of Andredswood.
Börs is often deployed at the point of the Boarsnout as a tactical aid to the flattening all Saxon foes. The Spears roving Soothsayer went to speak with Börs about his take on the coming of Ragnarok, but Börs is a man of few words: ‘I’m just here to swing my axe, and smash through the enemy.’ The Soothsayer asked if he was not concerned by the encroaching Norman armies, to which the reply was identical, and when she tried to get him to make a comment on his hope for the future his answer was likewise succinct – the Soothsayer summarily carved in runes that Börs may in fact be a contributing factor in the coming Ragnarok. In his spare time Börs delights in mushroom stews, freshly raided mead and casual berserking.
