Het The Weaver of Hounds

The mysteriously named Het was an Archer of the old Weald in the days before the Spears. She offered the Chieftain her bow when he landed. And she offered him her friendship and the stout companionship of herself and her son – and she was welcomed among the Spears for she was the weaver of Hounds; the mistress of the beasts. Her craft is now legendary among the hunting pack, who can be heard rasping her name when she passes “Het, Het,” they bark and pine, “Het, Het stop a while with us.“ Beware not to underestimate this bond she has, and beware never to cross Het Het, for you will be sorely beset when every hound that she has woven comes to her aid, such is the power of the spinner of fur in the Andredswold.
